From the time campers are picked up at their homes until they are dropped off at the end of the day, the camp vans are an iconic part of the Tom Sawyer Camps experience. When we were asked to create a "photo booth" based on the camp van, we decided to have some fun. Using the cartoon version of the van drawn by a counselor, we enlarged the image to just over 5 feet wide then had it printed on PVC. That was then cut down to the outline of the van and mounted on a portable wood frame. The resulting photos of several of the camp directors can be seen above.
